Entertaiment – Articles
The word entertainment has come to be associated with all kinds of activities intended for amusement. The term also is used to describe the experience of attending a theatrical or other performance. While a great deal of entertainment is simply meant for amusement, there are many other instances in which the experience is more serious and may serve as a form of social education or even satire. It is interesting to note that the word entertainment derives from a Latin prefix inter, meaning “inside,” and the suffix tenere, from the Indo-European root ten. It is a very flexible concept that can be adapted for any scale.
